Paul's Coupe

Paul hadn't had this coupe long and was working through some issues with it.

So he wanted me to give the car a once over, to see what my thoughts were on things that needed doing.

I started off getting it up in the air to have a really good look underneath.
It looked right at home with the other mantas in the workshop
Hmmm no jacking points and patches with interesting welding. Thats a job for later as its currently solid, but there's rust inside bleeding out.
Back end looked ok apart from badly fitted exhaust. Until i spotted the cable ties holding the fuel pump up!
Fuel pump re-mounted with bobbins and cracked fuel pipes replaced

The engine is in pretty good shape, just a couple of perished pipes to replace.

Also the idle valve and tickover needed adjusting

Nice polished rocker cover fitted.

Shame it makes the rest of the engine bay look dirty.
